Glenstone Baptist Church

Ron and Terri moved to Springfield on March 1 of 2021 in the middle of COVID after spending the past 14 years as pastor of FBC Van Buren, MO. That pretty well sums up their lives which often seems out of control as they have served the LORD in the ministry nearly 50 years now. They have also served in ministry to broken and abandoned children through Foster care for over 25 years fostering over 65 boys and girls through this ministry four of those came and never left being Adopted into their family.They are the proud parents of 6 children… Joshua, Tabitha, McKenzie, Jedidiah (JJ), Johari, and Jesse. They are also grandparents to Chloe, Destiny, Ainsley, Paisley, Lane, Caroline, and Jackie. And great grandparents of … OH WELL not quite yet.Ron has served the state in many different ways one of those being a member of the Board of Trustees with the MBCH for over 20 years and serving for 10 of those as chairman of the Children and Family Ministry Board and two as Chairman of the MBCH Board.

Rev. Doug Watson is the pastor of Worship and Music.  He began his ministry with Glenstone in June, 2013.  He has served churches in Missouri, Florida and Texas for more than 30 years.  He is graduate of Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO, and holds a Master's of Religious Education degree from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.  Doug is married to Clydene, and they have four children and two grand children.

Orley became the offical pastor of the Filipino-American Christian Fellowship sponsored by the Glenstone Baptist Church in 2016.  A native of the Philippines, Rev. Perlawan  holds a Master's degree in Theology.  His wife is Lalaine.

Joe has served Glenstone in this capacity as a volunteer for a number of years, as he and his family are long-time members of Glenstone.  Joe was officially added as the part-time Worship Tech Associate  for the church in January 2014.  He is married to Chris, and has a daughter Alexis and three sons Jarred, Simeon, and Corbin.
